Summary: 
This report on the data produced during a FSSR passive sampler calibration experiment, and the review of passive sampler technology incorporated herein, was funded by FFSR as part of its contribution to CAPIM to allow FFSR and CAPIM to identify whether use of passive samplers should be a general or niche-investigative priority for CAPIM field programs. In principle, it is possible to convert passive sampler extract/solution data to time weighted average water concentrations that can be compared with regulatory water quality guidelines and trigger values, although the lack of robust uptake factors for the vast majority of agrochemicals has so far restricted the applicability of passive sampling to presence/absence investigations.
