Abstract: This well encountered gas kicks on the gas detector of significance at 1048, 1300 and 1595 meters. According to Holdgate (1975c), the first two of these are in the Dilwyn Formation, the third in the Paaratte Formation. Some shows have been noted in the Bagallah Formation (equivalent to the base Dilwyn) in the Gambier Embayment over the South Australian side of the border, but are known from the Paaratte.
